Beautiful hotel in Durraes within a 15 minute hike from the Camino Central in Bulagars. A hidden gem with beautiful grounds, excellent room with access yo den and kitchen, wonderful breakfast included.

This property exceeded our expectations. The family and staff were exceptionally gracious and helpful. We ate dinner there twice and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Ein Paradies auf Erden
Dieses Landhaus bietet einfach alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Hinter den alten Gemäuern verberge sich geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Zimmer, die groß, gemütlich und sauber sind. Einziger Nachteil: aufgrund der dicken Mauern funktioniert das WLAN in den Zimmern nur schlecht oder gar nicht. Ansonsten gibt es einen Außenpool und Aufenthaltsbereiche für die Freizeitgestaltung. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Abendessen, welches man auf Wunsch bekommen kann. Ein tolles Menü mit frischen Zutaten aus dem eigenen Anbau, von der Eigentümerin gekocht. Das war besser als manches Restaurant.

Old World Charm and Grace
We had a wonderful stay at this historic manor house. It had been beautifully restored by the owners. Our room provided charm and enough room for our luggage an to walk around comfortably. The property manager, Katrina, was a marvel. She answered all of our questions and knew everything about the area. She was very gracious and made our stay. She is a treasure. We loved meeting other travelers staying at the Quinta. Two vibrant couples were from England and another delightful couple was from France. We had a marvelous time with them in the evening chatting into the night by the barbeque and at breakfast. We stayed two nights. The lovely pool really made the this a resort. We'd happily return to spend a week or more.

Fin gammal quinta
Vacker gammal quinta med fin pool och vacker trädgård. Lugnt och fridfullt. Ngt slitet. Rummet var stort och bekvämt men ac:n funkade inte så bra. Servicen var god och området fantastiskt. Frukosten sparsmakad - inget för den som vill ha en stor frukost. Vi kommer ändå gärna tillbaka.

Très bel hôtel .Très mal indiqué .Il manque le nom du village sur l'adresse,impossible de trouver avec le GPS voiture.La réceptionniste très charmante est venue nous chercher a 5 km. L'hotel est à 13km de la ville de Barcelos.

Peaceful country elegance
The grounds were lovely and perfect for strolling and enjoying the views, and the fruit from the citrus trees was delicious. The accommodations welcomed us each day with comfort and casual elegance. The service was outstanding in all respects - breakfast was great, and Catarina was available for everything we needed, including a delicious dinner. An unbelievable value - we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Very happily stay again
A delightful property. Very well presented in lovely gardens and rural surroundings. Large pool area with lawn. Tennis court and other amenities. There is a restaurant about 2 km away called Sol Doce. Just good honest home style cooking at reasonable prices.

A beautiful rural Quinta
Just 10 mins walk from Durraes railway halt this is a beautiful calm place to stay. The views are amazing - walking distance is a bar and supermarket - bit further away a superb restaurant 'Doce Sol' So car is not essential for those who enjoy walking. The elderly owners don't speak English though so this could be a problem. Breakfast was excellent with fresh figs and kiwis served from their grounds.

there may be a slight problem with the location (i.e. finding the place) There are occasional signs on the road, but not enough when approaching the place .... and our GPS was astray

Beautiful and quiet
Beautiful and quiet retreat among traditional Portuguese villages-nice open pool and lovely fruit trees & grape wines. Nice big comfy room with regrettably crammed bathroom. Fresh OJ instead of old packaged version we had would be much nicer considering the location. Overall, it was a fabulous experience.
