“Following three failed attempts to check in on arrival due to an unmanned desk, the rest of the stay was excellent, mostly down to the wonderful Sunny whom ensured our stay was comfortable and with plenty of supplies due to the weather conditions. The only downside was a faulty light in our room which constantly flashed on and off during the night which disturbed our sleep a little. We reported it twice, hoping for repair or a change of room but it was a weekend so no maintenance was available...

“We needed a room to sleep and shower and this room met all our criteria modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of off road parking. ”

“Very friendly guest house - I was welcomed and made to feel at home straight away. I only stayed for one night as the Hilton Leeds (my usual place) was full. The room was small but tastefully decorated. The lounge is really nice with comfy seats. The breakfast was very good quality and well cooked. The whole experience was very relaxing and only 20 minutes from the city centre. Recommended.”

“We were amazed what good value it was ,we were the only ones in there so therefore we had the kitchen lounge to ourselves .Do not no how it would be if all 7 rooms were taken ,but we will definitely be back as our sons family live in Huddersfield .”

“I was the convenient of the shops.but they were a couple of things wrong with the room The toilet flushing system was faulty along with the toilet seat which was loose. The room could do with a bigger tv on the wall so they is more on the desk to work.”

“A cosy little stay just for myself whilst I checked out the university and had an interview. The staff are so friendly and the facilities are comfortable. The bathrooms may be shared but they are always clean ”

“Cleanliness Mixed Bedding clean (and bed comfortable) Loo clean Tea station clean BUT Curtains not properly on rail No net curtains even though on ground floor Carpet hoovered but stained Wallpaper on exposed corners worn and grubby. ”

“I had a lovely stay at The White Hart. The room was clean and pretty and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The staff were very friendly (other than the receptionist) and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely be back.”

“The property is very nice with laundry and games room available. When I arrived the room was clean, but there were no equipment to keep it clean during my week long stay. Kitchen has only utensils, no plates or pans. It does have oven, stove, microwave and kettle. Staff were friendly but my check in experience was horrible. First it was moved later on the day, then I ended up waiting over an hour after the new time outside the building in the cold and dark as the instructions were to wait...
