“This hotel it a hidden gem. The breakfast was way better than I expected it to be. It had everything waffles bagels donuts fruit. String cheese. Was overwhelmed deciding what to pick. Air-conditioning worked well. No issue checking in Early around 1:00 pm to get to the gate at Do Good Fest for 1:30 pm when the gate opened. East to get in after the concert. Everything was excellent clean. Plenty of towels soap etc. even had spectrum internet. Only 15 minutes from National life group by. Car....

“Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.”

“1st - no dishes, silverware or cookware is included with your kitchenette. The property does have some they'll sell you. Housekeeping is only every 4th day, including trash removal. That being said, the room layout was excellent, none of that wasted space that drives you crazy when you can't turn around in the bathroom. “Hey it’s got a great location and scenery. The hosts were kind, and we had a nice conversation along with other guests over breakfast, which really let me understand the people and the region. I’m already missing the trees and the flowers. All New England. And I gotta say, I’m the first one from Korea to stay there. Koreans, check this place out!”

“First thing you notice ,when you check in ,is the musky smell .My wife notice it immediately ,it was a total negative for her.The room was clean .The king size bed was awful ,along with the pillows.My wife did like the shower hot waster.Low scores were because of the bed and pillows..”

“We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient.”

“I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!”
