"Place was very clean and modern furniture beds were really pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much and hotel location is unbeatable. Last but not least, staff was extraordinary always with a great and helpful attitude. Recommend 100%."
"There are so many complimentary things to say the MÍO. The breakfast was wonderful , personalized to your order and suitable for all visitors. The room was clean, roomy, perfect temperature and the bed and linens were super comfortable. Being visitors from out of the country , the staff went out of their way to help us with directions, recommendations for dinner and places to visit . We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it as a place to stay!"
"The positives:
The property is located right across the street from Recoleta cemetery, a major tourist attraction. It is in walking distance to almost all major attractions in the city and there are restaurants and a shopping mall right outside your door. The staff is very kind and helpful, especially Maria Celeste who greeted us with a warm smile every day and was always happy to share recommendations with us. The room was clean and had everything needed for the stay including two place settings for food. The showers were hot and the breakfast was equal to a higher end American style hotel we stayed in later in the week.
The negatives:
We read the negatives in the reviews before coming and many of them were confirmed. The building has thin walls. We could hear our neighbors flush their toilets, talk, and the maids move furniture while cleaning. We could also hear outside noise but were able to cover that up with a white noise phone application and some ear plugs. I suggest getting a room in the rear as the bars outside are open late. The hotel is also dated with many cosmetic issues. However, these issues were minor and did not affect our stay negatively.
Overall this hotel was a great fit for our needs and budget. It was great to walk outside and have so many options for dinner and drinks (happy hour at most of these bars was 2 for 1) and to be so close to all the sights we were privileged to see. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful city. Thanks!"
