"A wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable - perhaps in need of a repaint (scratches/marks on walls). The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a convenient position whilst being very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"Great location just on the outside of the city walls, easy walking into town to explore. 10mins walk to the train station too. We had a small room (intentionally for 1 night at the Lucca Summer Fest). It was good. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was also good. We would come back, but would upgrade the room. Breakfast was good, not loads of choice but the cappuccino’s kept flowing as we requested them!"
"Pros:
Super cool concept with each room being an opera
Very central location - close to everything in Lucca
Clean room and nice shower
Cons:
AC exists but the room was still very hot in July
You have to leave your key with the front desk every time you leave
Only two pillows per room and pillows/blanket were itchy and uncomfortable"
"Excellent hotel with staff who were very friendly, helpful and great with languages.
Great pool with loungers and cafe area adjoining with lush gardens.
8 minutes from Lucca walls and quiet area.
Lovely reception area good for relaxing.
Bikes available in hotel for hire are perfect for Lucca exploring."
"Room was very nice and good size. Checkin process wasn’t smooth. Look out for an email the day of your stay asking to check in online. We had issues with that process, including never getting an email with the door codes so we couldn’t get inside. Once we did, the AC units weren’t working properly. Fortunately we were able to speak with someone over the phone / WhatsApp who was very helpful, but the process was challenging and not clear. Otherwise, property and room were great."
