In room 1114,April 1,remote control was dirty,housekeeping replaced it which was good,the ice machine was not working and now trying to call customer service to see if I was charged twice but I can't get in contact with the right people once Im transferred from reservations,the phone just rings,their also doing construction work

Staff had a smug/ abrasive attitude. Every employee we came across. Only one smile from an employee and that was when we were checking out. Room had various stains on the chairs and couch. Obvious vomit and other bodily excretions. There were nut shells on the side of the bed and under the curtains. I doubt the room was vacuumed. Even though it was a smoking room the room smelled ok. I’ll give them that. I was nervous when I saw the stains because they took a $112 security deposit for a $77 night stay. Was relieved when I got $98 of it back a few days later. Them taking the security deposit turned me off from gambling there. (Was expecting to pay under 100’dollars for the room not 200) The abrasive employees led us to eat off property on the way to island view casino to gamble a little. Expected to pay $77 for a room not $91. Was out $200 dollars for the night didn’t get $98 of the deposit back until after we checked out a few days later. (Again went back to island view to gamble again when we got the deposit back. If yall wouldn’t have taken the deposit I would’ve gambled there.) So I recommend island view casino over this place. Better budget place is treasure bay. They’re a tad dodgy at treasure bay but at least they’re nice and clean. I moved to the coast a few years back. I’ve stayed at and or gambled at almost every casino on the coast. This was the first place I didn’t feel wanted and felt like I had my integrity questioned.

Room was clean but old and needed a paint job. Bathroom was old and extremely dated. Drawers in the chests kept flying open by themselves. It was a nice view of the back bay.

The casino seemed old and unkept. The hot water in the room’s was way too hot. It actually steamed when it came out. I’d be surprised if you don’t get sued over scalding someone if you don’t correct the temperature.

They were doing some construction inside the front enterance so you had to walk around all the workers and equipment. Had some cleaniness and maintence issues. Let the front desk girl know and she didnt seem fazed by what i mentioned to her. Safety was the security lock was broken, stains on floor (red) food some unknown object on floor i wasnt touching and some type of blood or something on sheer curtains. Didnt see some of the stuff until we checked out as we we not in room much. The ac was turned way down (65) and still felt very warm in the room. For the price it would have been worth paying if the room wasnt as bad.

The room very nice however the bed was not very comfortable. The casino had lots of fun games that we enjoyed.

There is absolutely no customer service at this hotel. The coffee shop staff are unable to make a decent cup of coffee and do not apologize for this. Instead, they think it is funny to tell their customers to there is no half and half for their Starbucks coffee which was so strong and thick that I couldn’t drink it. They couldn’t make change for $100 bill. This is a casino! I couldn’t charge it to my room as I needed an ID? Most hotels verify by checking name to room number. They wouldn’t or couldn’t do that. Also my bedsheets had an orange stain on them and I had to strip my bed late at night. This just isn’t a nice place to stay in Gulfport.

Some associate had a key and walked right into my room in the early morning hours and scared me to death!! Why, he had a access key is beyond me! I will not stay in the hotel ever again !! I was afraid for my life and safety

Cross country hotel stays
Everything has been very clean. We feel the best hotel that we stayed in was the Drury hotel. We were not happy about the hotels that had unknown pet fees. Some hotels didn’t charge for pets.

Maggie, at the check in counter was Awesome. Answered the questions i presented to her. There was construction going on replacing carpet and grouting tile but never slowed anyone down. They had it roped off in a very convenient way. Awesome place and we will be back. Thanks for asking my opinion Ray Rutland

A two night stay
Hotel is undergoing some renovations. Rooms could use some updating, furniture is old and worn. Stingy with coffee packets. There is no refrigerator in the room, which was disappointing. There was only one bar open. Prices were not consistent, ranging $4.00 a glass of wine, and the next night $8.00 for the same glass. Parking is convenient, with plenty of space. Places to eat were limited.
