Lovely hostel in convenient location

I was very happy with my stay at Peking International Youth Hostel. The rooms were very comfortable, the hostel was very clean and the ladies at reception were very helpful. They assisted me with booking a driver for the Great Wall and were able to answer a few stupid questions for me. The hutong the hostel is located on is really popular so it's almost always bustling. Plenty of food and drink options on the main street but make sure you venture out into the side streets for less crowded options. Hostel is very close to a subway station as well which was very convenient for getting around Beijing. Have run into a few people who stayed here at different times to me and all were happy with their experience. Would recommend to friends.

In the middle of the action

Stayed in a private room with a window (that opens!) and private bathroom. Everything was great. Relatively quiet, open-air rooftop cafe, and you can't beat the location. We plan to stay here again.

Travel with kids.

We had a great time in Beijing. Peking Hostal was perfect for our needs. I was with my 2 kids. The hostal was located on the edge of a great hutong very close to public transportation,as well as walking distance to the lama temple, the bell and drum tower. The hostel was clean and comfortable aside from our bath had a horrible sewer smell. The staff attempted to remedy but had no success. We were in room 101, I would avoid this room.

Nice hostel in tourist attraction

Great location, close to metro station. Nice and lovely cafe and rest area in the hostel. Hot and cold drinking water available in the lobby. Hair dryers and sinks available in the hallway. Locker in the room, provided with lock and key. Bathroom is clean. Overall, the atomosphere is warm and convenient to downtown.
