"Loved our stay here. Check-in was fast and friendly, and everyone was friendly throughout our visit. We never had a problem finding golf cart parking right out front. Room was clean, bed comfy, shower hot, kitchen amenities convenient. Very convenient to dock with ferry and where we met our snorkel guy, about a three minute walk. There is sand and a seawall in front of the property with lounge chairs. Sargassum was pretty bad during our early March stay, plus that section is a popular foot and bike path for locals, so we didn't sit out there. But we had a water facing deck which was awesome, so we enjoyed people watching and nice breezes. Live music nights will be loud, but it was done by about 9p when the restaurant closed. We didn't eat there, but it stayed pretty busy and their prices looked reasonable. Note that there is no elevator, so if you pack heavy and have an upper floor it could be challenging. Also, they WILL come in your room to clean every two days even if you put DND sign out - it's their policy."

"Pool was nice and it’s a beautiful spot close to everything but there were bugs in and around our bathroom sink and our shower head didn’t work and the restaurants in the area had random hours that they went by and they also don’t mention that to get to the other half of the hotel you have to take a ferry until you get there but staff was super nice and respectful and cleaned our room everyday. "

"Very close to the Carribean Sprinter and not to far to walk to other spots like the Casino, resturants, other night clubs like Allure and especially the beach. Staff was sweet and rooms were really really clean."

"We loved our room in the jungle setting with a glimpse of the ocean from our porch. Beautiful resort, pool area, and beach, in tropical setting. So convenient to the town, restaurants and shops, yet serene with a great dock for snorkeling and diving activities. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome and relaxed. Saw a sting ray, and tarpons, as well as smaller fish from the dock. Loved the Hol Chan & Stingray alley tour. The guides were fun, professional, and made us feel safe; yet we saw a ton of nurse sharks and stingrays up close. Great location for snorkeling excursions. Pineapple restaurant served delicious lunch and we enjoyed the smoothie bar in the daytime. At night we had a glass of wine overlooking the water then hung out by the pool watching a fight that was on. Walked along the beach to other restaurants too. Great place to start out your Ambergris Caye trip if you plan on going north later, like we did, or stay your whole trip there. Great base for excursions and easy to walk into to town. We didn’t need a golf cart until we left the resort for northern Ambergris Caye. "

"We stayed at the Caye Hotel - SP for four nights (sun-thurs) in March 2026. The rooms were clean, beds firm but comfortable. The staff was very helpful with recommendations of things to do, places to eat. Staff also offered to set up our snorkeling tour, golf cart rental, and water taxi tickets. They offered us water bottles and refilled our waters. They had small coolers and ice to be used for our day trips and towels for our beach outings. Their beach area was also shared with the restaurant/bar, so although there are places to sit its table & chairs type situation. You can find other beach and pool areas to use outside the hotel. The restaurant/bar had music Sunday night until 10pm, which was a little loud in our room but we were tired and still able to fall asleep. Where our room was located we could see the ocean out the window but I would not say we had an “ocean view” room. The location was great, walking distance to a lot of the restaurants and we walked from the airport. There was a snorkeling company right out front of the hotel which was very convenient. Overall great stay and I would stay here again. "
