1.) Asked for an extra blanket and sheet set, had to wait until after midnight to get itโฆbecause they were washing themโฆ.as if it was the only set available.
2.) Discovered dried blood on the bottom side of the pillow case (was not from us.) immediately left and forfeited any $$ spent on staying there.
They overbooked and my room was downgraded from 2 queen beds to one queen and a cot. They would not offer discount on first day or refund to leave the second day.
The cot was metal coils covered with thin fabric. I have never seen a โmattressโ like this!
The toilet was not attached to the floor.
It wasnโt a five star hotel, but it was great for what it was. I felt safe and the bed was super comfortable. The room was neat and not super dirty. The pet fee was the most reasonable (only 25 dollars) and the location was perfect. Super close to everything and surrounded by lots of trees and grass. It was very quiet and calming there. It did smell like smoke outside and near the stairwell, and some things just looked worn and old. But againโฆit provided a good place for me and my dog to spend one night. The breakfast options were really limitedโฆbut there were other places close by. Iโd recommend the cafe Tous Les Jours in the Rio shopping center nearby.
It could be better. First, they gave me a room that smelled like urine, making it impossible to sleep in. I asked if they could give me another room. Thankfully, they gave me a new room the next day. The staff told me I had to move to another room, which made me unsatisfied. The hotel should supervise whether a room is ready to rent.
Unable to check in until after 5 pm due to internet issues. Sitting in the car with family in the pouring down rain. Left and was unable to reach the front desk to see if the internet was back up. Even their guest relations were unable to reach them. Neighboring hotels were full, so I'm at their mercy. Desk attendant whose name starts with "N" is clueless and unhelpful.
8 muffins out for breakfast for the whole motel with Floaters in the coffee.
Another lesson learned, "You get what you pay for."
