"The room appliances are pretty new, but other than that the hotel is well and thoroughly falling apart. Bathtub is chipping, water mixers don’t work well (temperature fluctuates like crazy) and had a constant leak, WiFi did not reach our room, some electrical plugs did not work, light switch panels are all marred and scratched up, the shower head holder was cracked and too low for a tall person to stand under it, etc. needs major renovation. "

"The Bear Mountain Lodge is a real treat. Small enough to feel private and exclusive, large enough to feel professional and welcoming. Our breakfasts were beautiful homemade meals with fresh ingredients and served with a smile. The entire lodge is spotlessly clean. The staff is thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. I hope to comeback someday in the future. Don’t miss this gem. "
