Well, an extremely strange hotel. The lifts to all floors are the only method of accessibility the grand floor from an upper level, doors from the stairs to the ground floor were locked, access only via a certified key. As such, we had to wait in queues at the lifts to and from the 3rd floor.
A water leak in our room was confusingly rectified with a change of room.
Loose floor tiles in the bath room, missing shower waste water cap, not sure the bedding sheets were sufficient given the cold weather. The windows were filthy, okay, it’s on the sea front, but they were filthy.
Taking the advice of breakfast after 10:00 hrs was a good move, and fresh food was constantly being brought out.
Having resided in many Hilton’s, I’m not sure this hotel really meets with their usual standards.
