“The stay included a full Scottish breakfast, but I am a vegan and could not eat most of what they cooked and I was never asked what I wanted for breakfast. I am a plain oatmeal breakfast eater, which I tought would be easy in Scotland. Even Mcdonald's has oatmeal.”

“We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! “I recommend upgrading to a superior room for a much more luxurious space and nice view. I had a lovely room and excellent view of the front lawn. My friend who had a regular room had an okay room with a view of the back parking lot! It’s a beautiful historic property and stunning location on the river, so might as well make the most of your stay! Don’t expect much from the “spa” treatment. It was nothing special and very expensive given the circumstances. The pool area was nice but a bit...

“The hotel was in a very convenient location, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service.
After a day of bad weather, I was completely exhausted, so I ordered takeout from the Indian restaurant on the ground floor—it was absolutely delicious. The staff were wonderful, and their kindness was truly comforting. Thank you! I can confidently recommend this hotel.”
