Ok, I don't usually leave a comment behind, but this hotel deserves one. I had a very pleasant experience staying at Boracay Beach Club. This is a definitely a family friendly hotel which is located on the Station one. We had a two year old baby traveling with us, so we wanted to have some peace and quietness when we retire to our hotel. Boracay Beach Club suited us perfectly. It is a fifteen-minute walking distance from D-Mall and ten pesos by one of those ubiquitous motorcycle taxis, but what I liked most about the hotel wasn't the location but the service. Upon our arrival, the staffs provided us with welcoming drinks and helped us carry the luggage to our room. The room was neither luxurious nor fancy, but clean, cozy, and well maintained. Some told us that the owner is a retired US Navy personnel as well as Christian. I think the style of hotel and service reflect on the owner's values. The guard help us cross the street every time we went to the beachfront. If you are single, you might not need such a service, but I was carrying my two year old daughter and such services are always helpful. The hotel also operates a restaurant, which serves great foods with considerably less salts than other restaurants (Filipino cuisine was too salty for our tastes). As the result, we dined at their restaurants almost twice a day. One day after breakfast, one of the staffs lent our daughter sand shovel and other toys. It was just really nice gesture!
