"It was affordable and perfect location. However we were on the top floor so there was 84 stairs to get to our room. The room was small which we expected but there wasnt even room on either side of the bed to get in or out. We had to crawl to the end of the bed to access it. Very very very tiny. We did however see bigger rooms on our way out when the maid was cleaning. We would stay again for location but this was a very basic accommodation. Do not go with high expectations. "Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Bordeaux centre. An ideal base for exploring the city on foot, close to many of the sights and endless cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. A special mention to the excellent reception staff who helped us book a *very* early taxi to the train station when our original train was cancelled. And even gave us a coffee to fuel us for the 4.30am start! We look forward to our next visit. "
