“Absolutely lovely staff very polite and helpful and welcoming. First impressions of the hotel are lovely its clean welcoming and fresh feeling. Unfortunately the mattress in our room (22) was absolutely awful! Not fit for sleeping on at all. We made do for 1 night but had our stay been longer I couldn’t have done it. It pinged creaked and flattened like a pancake upon sitting or laying. You could seriously pick up a free one on marketplace in better condition than that was in. However...

“For a midweek night away or to be fair anytime away you can’t go wrong with Derby Manor. The rooms are excellent tidy and cleaned. The staff go over and above to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The breakfast caters for all dietary requirements so you will not go hungry. Would I go back again In. Heartbeat.”

“Great room, good and clean. Great decor and would certainly visit again. (Too good to say a "stay" as host so personable and friendly). Self check in as such, but only because of our travel time varied, would have been met by owners. “The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast.
