Het is een buiten de stad gelegen accomodatie met zowel hotelkamers als blokhut-achtige huisjes (4-6 persoons). Alleen de 6-persoons hebben airco. Het is een uit hout opgebouwd “hotel” waardoor de buitenkant wat gehavend oogde; hier werd wel aan gewerkt! Steigers en een handje vol werkers waren druk aan de gang. Ons balkon had een aantal deels verrotte planken, iets waarvan ik vermoed dat dit nog aangepakt zal worden. Wij hadden een nette, schone kamer met zelfs een tweetal electrische kookpitten, een (kapot) koffiezetapparaat, wat pannen etc. Koelkastje!!! Het restaurant en barretje zijn verpacht, dit hoeft geen probleem te zijn maar het heeft wat beperkte tijden. Van 12.00-19.30 uur is de keuken open en om 20.00 uur is zowel het restaurant als het barretje dicht. Het ontbijtbuffet is vrij basic maar voldoende. Verwacht niet te veel variatie. Het hotel is wel zeer diervriendelijk!! We hebben diverse honden gezien en de hotelwoef en hotelkat. Het buitenzwembad is netjes maar erg frisjes (24C). Het binnenbad zou 28C zijn, maar haalde net aan de 24C. Men is wel vriendelijk en spreekt goed engels. Wij waren hier om bij de “buren” een bruiloft bij te wonen. Voor dat doel was het meer dan voldoende. Let op; deze accomodatie is niet echt geschikt voor hen met een verminderde mobiliteit! Veel smalle trapjes..

We stayed 2 nights.Hotel’s location is great with very nice nature view.Breakfast was not very rich but it was enough.Room was big..but beds were not very comfortable..we would like to stay there again.

Worst hotel in the world
Värdelöst. Solen står på hela dagarna och steker in mot balkongen o rätt in i sovrummet. INGEN typ av AC eller dylikt fanns. Gick ej och sova där, var en bastu. Slutade med att jag fick sova i Bilen för personalen kunde inte hjälpa mig med något.

Good but.....
While the resort was generally good but it is not recommended for tourists coming from overseas and don’t have a car. It is far away from the city centre where all the action take place and you have spend lot of money for commute. Cabins had no AC which makes it hard when the temperature is 30-37 degrees. On the positive side, we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor swimming pools especially if you have kids.

Beautiful green spot outside of Budapest
A lovely relief after a day in Budapest to go back to nature and a pool. Minus- rooms not well insulated (noise) and beds are very hard. No Wifi. But I would go there again, for the atmosphere, the pool, the price.

Nice place
Stayed there 3 nights. Nice, relaxing place with beautiful surrounding. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Apart from the balcony, our room was clean and tidy. Unfortunately outside swimming pool was closed and we didn't know why but weren't allowed to use it. However, the indoor swimming pool was opened and it was OK. I expected better Hungarian food. Breakfast could be better. Menu is badly designed, not much to offer and illegible. WiFi works only in restaurant, no range in rooms. Overall, it's a nice place for a quiet holiday and the price is affordable. I would come back again, why not.

we in on 19:45 , ask from bar coffe it's say he close we see still have there man but he didn't make because he leave on 20:00, this hotel far way from city or every shop or resterant for it's be bettet they need give service until 22:00 or more because pepole must drink and eat... the worker on hotel like 50% very nice and helpful and 50% bad can't ask or talk

Déçu par le manque de la notion "wellness" pour lequel nous avions réservé: Une seule piscine intérieure (eau froide pour natation), pas de bain thermal, pas de jacuzzi, etc... et ils ne fournissent pas de peignoir ! Sauna finlandais sans possiblité d'arroser les pierres, sauna infra-rouge hors service Une nuit passée dans cet hôtel, chambre propre et confortable avec balcon et coin cuisine mais bruyante et un groupe d'autres clients ont fait le bazar dans les couloirs une bonne partie de la soirée sans que personne n'intervienne ! Petit déjeuner gratuit mais avec bien peu de choix !!! Par contre, WiFi payant !!!

Great time in a beautiful setting!
We had a wonderful time during a recent three-night stay here. The staff were friendly and always receptive to our requests. The rooms are as advertised: interesting and comfortable given the decor. The facilities were nice (I even got to use the indoor tennis court). I do agree with others that you should consider having your own transportation before staying here if you want to daily venture into town. The restaurant was comfortable and good enough when we need to dine there. And I thought breakfast was more than adequate with a diverse offering of the general European breakfast fare. Enjoyed it thoroughly!

Going downhill
We stayed in a cottage for a couple of days with 2 kids. The house was extremely nice and cozy - just the right setup and atmosphere. Enjoyed it very much. The area is very peaceful; swimming pool is also quite good - kids enjoyed it a lot. Restaurant was the weakest point of the stay - the food was at best average for Hungarian standards, and the service basically didn't exist. We had 4 meals there - were never offered a seat or a drink; even when we asked for beer, it didn't come. Overall feeling was that the place has its peak in the past and is now slowly going downhill.

Overall good stay but far from the city
Nice hotel, comfortable rooms but you must have a car to get around. It is about 45 minutes from the airport in a beautiful area but there is really nothing around. The cottages were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was just mediocre.

Dejlige senge og værelse, samt swimmingpool. Morgenmad kedeligt og sparsomt. restaurant lukker meget tidelig, og tjenerne går hjem! vi var der 4 dage, i det tidsrum blev der afholdt 3 bryllupper på hotellet. Man kan som gæst på hotellet ikke købe øl eller vand, når de holder fest. det er et meget kuperet område og et godt stykke til centrum af Budapest, men en smuk by og et pænt hotel

Stayed one night and forfeited the money for the other three nights. Could of handled the heat without air conditioning but could not handle the kids freaking out over the bugs that came out at night through the crevices. Too bad I had already paid for four nights. No refund was offered. :(

beautiful location makes up for mediocre else
The are the hotel is situated at is beautiful, albeit remote, so recommended only for those who have a car. Some of the things in our room did not work, such as the room safe, and the taps were leaking. The room was clean to begin with, but the daily maintenance only comprised of giving us new soap, and even when we explicitly asked our room to be cleaned, and got a positive answer, it still wasn't done. The staff was friendly, but only helpful on a can't be bothered level. The restaurant was never open in the evenings even at times when it was supposed to be open, so we were always referred to elsewhere to eat exhausted after long days of walk. Breakfast choice was poor, and although the hotel is advertised to have free wifi, it is actually only free in the lobby, and available for extra charge in the room However in my opinion the quite and nature close location of the hotel makes up for all of the above.

Service für ein 4-Sterne Hotel ungenügend
Das Hotel ist in einem schönen Waldgebiet ca. 10 km außerhalb von Budapest gelegen. Eigentlich ist das Hotel sehr schön, die Zimmer sind schön, der Pool- und Wellnessbereich ebenfalls. Leider können wir aber aus folgenden Gründen das Hotel nicht empfehlen: - Das Personal an der Rezeption war teilweise fast unverschämt. Wir hatten ein Anliegen wegen unseres Rückfluges, haben an der Rezeption gestanden, und die zuständige Dame (mit der wir vorher schon darüber gesprochen hatten) war draußen und hat geraucht. Sie hat gesehen, dass wir warteten, dennoch hat sie erst einmal gemütlich 10 min. ihre Zigarette geraucht. Dann ist sie an die Rezeption gekommen, und gesagt, wir müssten noch 5 min. warten. - Der öffentliche Wellnessbereich schließt schon um 20 Uhr, für ein Wellness-Hotel, das so weit abgelegen ist und man somit nicht viel anderes machen kann, unverständlich. - Das WIFI in den Zimmern ist nicht im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen.

The country-side of Budapest
Petnehazy is in a beautiful setting. It has private cabins in a quiet, quasi-suburban area. It it located on some acreage that oversees hills/trees/countryside. Each cabin has it's own sauna and deck area. The staff were mostly fluent in English. They were helpful but I do believe there was some language barriers. Be persistent and they will hang in there with you so you get all the information you need. The food was delicious. If you are looking for a relaxing, private week, this would be a great place. On the other hand, it is a 20 minute walk to catch public transportation and then a bus and tram were needed to get near the city, minimum 50 minutes to the heart of Buda-Pest. Taxi was about $40.00 one way. The transportation system is relatively easy to learn if you have used large city transportation

What a fantastic venue
I booked this venue for a getaway and was not disappointed. From the moment I contacted the hotel about the airport shuttle bus nothing was too much trouble. They sent me full details of the venue and this helped us to plan what we needed to take and how far the shops were away. I would recommend anybody to book this venue and go for one of the log cottages they are lovely and ours had a sauna. We are thinking of going back in the summer it was that good.

Nära natur och storstad
Vår familj med två vuxna och tre barn (7, 10 och 13) hade några härliga dagar i naturen utanför Budapest. Fina stugor, fint hotell med bra uppvärmd inomhuspool. Restaurangen serverade mycket bra mat till bra priser. Restaurangen specialiserade sig på gås och som skåning kände man sig som hemma. Däremot kunde det vara lite fler olika maträtter på menyn, lite tjatigt i längden med gås! Kostnad för taxi till anläggningen är inte dyr, men det beror på trafiken vad det kostar.
