"At first glance it does not look promising as it is actually on the Bass Highway next to an intersection, so noisy if in the lounge, but the main bedroom is at the back and traffic dies down at night so it is not so much a problem. That said, in fact the location is excellent as it is a short walk into town along the boardwalk where the little penguins come ashore. The amenities are clean and excellent with a shared laundry and off-street parking although the kitchen utensils could do with some rethinking, and some of the outdoor lights need new globes - something which is probably not evident if the apartment is serviced in daylight. These are minor quibbles, easily fixed, and, all in all, it is a good place in which to base yourself for touring the north coast."

"We had a great stay. Our room was really waterfront and spotless! Didn't see any evidence of dust. Everything we need was provided, even a microwave and it was a pleasant surprise. Check in was a breeze and we could watch Netflix in the telly (using our account), though wished it was a bit bigger as it was hard to see the subtitles. I forgot my glasses."

"Stayed only for one night. Check-in was easy! Staff very informative. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. Was a perfect location in the centre of town - close to an IGA & the main-street. We went out for the evening, when we got back the restaurant was packed. Room was very clean & spacious for 2 adults & a tween. The shower was hot, again a must for me! Only downside was the bed was hard and uncomfortable, I woke up in severe pain. Probs won't stay there again for that reason, but will definitely try the restaurant ☺️"
