"Booked this hotel at short notice, and I am so glad that I did. The hotel is in prime location. Everything was spotless. Decent breakfast options. Would highly recommend and this will be my go to hotel when next in Birmingham."

"Only comments are how hot our room was and breakfast waiting staff appear to have little serving training. There was a small fan in the room but could do with something more cooling or larger fan. Great facilities and although we didn't eat lunch/dinner, the food looked amazing. Waiting staff lent over us eating to clear plates of our party on a couple, of occasions, also took the fruit as I was picking & barged past us at the servery a few times. However, this experience wont put us off going there again and we will definitely stay there again"

"We were met with a friendly staff member who gave us advice on how to navigate around the roadworks as it had taken us a while to find a way in due to road closures. The room was lovely, very clean, good amenities, nice big shower and comfy beds and pillows. We had a drink and food in the bar area which had a really nice atmosphere and the breakfast in the morning was well organised and very enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. It was good value for money and we were able to leave our car in the car park whilst we visited the university. A lovely experience. "

"I think every standard room should have glass wear and tea/coffee , water But I know it’s not only Ibis that cuts down on every need of the guests so they can then charge for those basic services . Check out times keep getting earlier but checkin times keep getting later . This is a general view of mine for almost every Franchised hotel however £30 fee for a night and the cleanness , efficiency, safety of the guests is more than reasonable. I slept very well too."

"My husband and I booked a one night stay at this hotel unfortunately my husband was taken ill on arrival and spent a week in hospital, the hotel staff and management were amazing they went above and beyond to enable me to stay close to my husband at a very stressful time, I cannot thank the whole team enough especially Richard."

"Great stay at The Village, in the area visiting relatives and the hotel was perfect. Traveled from U.S and we were very tired after a long trip. Check in was super easy and friendly, shout out to Kieran who made it quick and simple. Breakfast was good, staff helpful and bed comfortable. Will be back when in the area again"
