“The bedroom was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless. The tea and coffee provided were great quality. The beds were comfortable but a bit creaky. The floor was uneven and creaky so a bit noisy when moving around. The common areas in the hotel are shabby, although it's an old building it could do with some updating. Our reservation included free parking yet we were charged for a parking permit.”

“3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...

“Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat.”
