“I stayed at Riu Baja California. There was an incident in the room next to mine. A person vomited in the shower. Fell asleep and water come from their room into mine and flooded my room. I complained to staff members and asked them to perform a deep cleaning not knowing what possible illness the drunk person(next room) had. I was told there was not enough personnel at 3:30 am when it occured. A few of our clothing got wet and if wasn't for my brother waking up at 3:30 am to use the restroom who...

“Staff was very unprofessional, rude and had a very matter of fact attitude. It wasn’t really all inclusive so be careful with additional charges at certain restaurants. There was mold in my room, it had a very ugly odor. Overall I was not happy with my stay. I wouldn’t come back or recommend this reasort.”

“There is a deposit due when checking it but on the website it doesn’t show the exact amount of deposit… The pool nor the lobby had a first aid kit. When I asked for a band-aid took 15min for me to get one. They charge you $5 each day for cleaning but you still sleep in the same sheets.”

“I did a solo birthday trip here and I loved every second of it of it. The staff was so accommodating and made me feel so welcomed. I felt absolutely safe. The hotel is in a great location to everything - the beach is on site, you can walk to the marina, and downtown. I have absolutely zero complaints and would definitely come back here again”

“Our experience was terrible. We were scammed by the hotel staff. We made a boat tour reservation through the hotel concierge on the first day of our trip, which was supposed to include fishing, snorkeling, and whale watching. We paid $600 for the tour. However, all we got was a fishing trip on an old boat. We got soaked by the waves because the roof of the boat was broken, and there were no life vests for the kids. The concierge had said the license fee was included, but we had to pay $75 each...
