“Just wow! We had an excellent stay and I would rave about this property to anyone that wants to enjoy the beach and the pool and be centrally located and NOT on a party beach! So nice and the staff is amazing! The pool bartenders are hit or miss - they were not the same with service. The rest of the staff was so friendly and helpful and lovely! “Everything was great, very clean, the staff were super friendly, and the ocean view and the pool eve thing was beautiful we enjoyed our vacation. However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. “If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally!...

“The resort is small compared to Cancun/Cabo/Punta Cana resorts. Small island vibe, perfect for couples or families. The beach is next level beautiful, and no seaweed. The scuba diving here is amazing as well!”

“Anthony's Key Resort was a true definition of island getaway. It did not dawn on me until I arrive that the rooms were tucked away on an island. That level of privacy and tranquility is unmatched. Alexza and the other staff are courteous. Highly recommend”

“If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

This resort caters mainly to locals and it appears that many come to this resort to relax and unwind on the weekends. “What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! ”

“Great location with a local feel! Less touristy than other parts of the island and easy transportation to other areas via water taxi or cab. Rooms were very large with a nice breakfast in the coffee shop with a local option was included. Great spot to get away from more touristic areas of the island 🏝️”
