Pictures a little misleading but ac was great, staff friendly, lots of amenities. Laundry is not in unit. Good travel base for seeing all of cairns and Daintree, port Douglass and the Great Barrier Reef.

Clean hotel to stay in close to the airport

Needed a place to stay after a late night flight into Cairns. This is a quick drive from the airport and they left clear instructions for after hours checkin including how to park the car in the lot. The room was very spacious and felt clean. Please note there are shared bathrooms here so you have to leave your room but they felt clean and there was never a wait to use them while we were there.

Low cost accommodation, basic amenities

Initially booked a double room, didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom arrangement. Staff were very accommodating and managed to upgrade us to an ensuite room for a small additional fee. Accommodation is very tired and basic, needs a deep clean and painting. However, given the reasonable price did not expect top shelf accommodation. Proximity to esplanade and city was good.

Bathrooms need re doing as the water runs and slopes the wrong way for water runoff is towards door! wifi needs up grading and no Foxtel, no linen service each day. Condiments would be an advantage and a toaster, lighting needs attention on the patio. Other than that it was quite nice. Staff were very helpful.
