The hotel is fairly well located (close to the airport in my case). Navigating there was quite easy. It was reasonably quiet, which was important to me. The breakfast was very good although no non-dairy option for cereal milk. There were not enough blankets so I had to double up the bed spread. Shower was fine although drain is getting blocked with hair and needs cleaning. No serious issues. I suppose I would stay again but not for what I paid ($142). I think $110-115 is more reasonable.

Very clean and smart, updated rooms beautiful hotel. Quiet hotel didn't hear other people staying there, staff very helpful,polite and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice. Will definitely be staying here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Vending machine prices were exhorbidant. Would have loved a good hot tub.

Only thing i would say to add to my experience, have a few more options at the breakfast, such as different breakfast meats, starches, etc. Also, add some juice, such as orange, apple, etc. Otherwise, my stay was fantastic!

We found the stay very relaxing but for the room TV did not work very well. The staff exchanged the TV but due to how the TV provider set up the network nothing could be done. The issue was, 1 the screen was very dim and could not be brightened and two the hand controller would not activate the page action and one could only change by one channel up or down at a time. TV is very important to fill the evening in your room. May be we will have a properly working TV next time.

The staff are friendly and the property is in good maintenance. My room on the first floor was rather noisy but no other concerns. The hot breakfast is nice.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were on the fifth floor right across from the elevator and we couldn't really hear any noise in the hallway. The hotel is a little dated but comfortable. Breakfast was good and the coffee was great! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Convenient location. Room was clean but no central heating, have to turn on heater unit (noisy). Cigarette disposal container was outside our room and the smoke was coming into our room through the heat/fan. Closet door broken, could not close.

I liked Royal Hotel before, but from now on I'm wondering I may come back to the hotel or not. Breakfast menu was not enough nor fresh. When I reserved the room, the total amount was $176.36, but later they charged $187.40. I called them and complained about that and they agreed it was overcharged, but still not refunded after 5 days and no answering

Always a good stay with Wyndham. Excellent breakfast offered over several hours to meet all traveller’s needs. Location is convenient for airport or downtown. Close proximity to Hwy2. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and comfortable.

The chairs in the room are really uncomfortable; There might be something wrong with the bedding because I get itchy every night when I go to bed, but I’m fine during the day, so it’s probably not just because Calgary is dry; I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights and they only cleaned the room 3 times, which I could overlook, but unbelievably, they didn’t make the bed during two of those times.

The breakfast was good but the dining area isn’t large enough to accommodate when the hotel is busy. We stayed for 2 nights mid week and each morning we had to wait 20-25 mins in line to get a table. The hotel wouldn’t allow guests to sit in other areas or take food back to your room. There was also no hot water for showering. In the 2 days we stayed we couldn’t find a time in the day when there was hot water. So very cold quick showers. We called the front desk the first night and again on check out. It was very disappointing. They didn’t offer us a discount or anything in compensation. We probably won’t be staying at this hotel again.

The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was terrible. Ive stayed in many hotels and this was the worst breakfast we ever had. The first morning they were out of everything and no bacon sausage or meat options. Who serves stuffing for breakfast. No juices etc...

Great stay! Accommodating staff helped us enjoy our complimentary breakfast in the lounge as we had a small dog with us. Only downside was our incredibly noisy upstairs neighbours, but that’s not the hotels fault.

The room was very cold and the heater cycled all night and blew cool air on me. We stayed 3 nights and i was able to have one shower with hot water. I was told the system was being worked on the second night. it was not untiol the last morning (monday) was maintenance brought in to get it up and running. As a gas fitter and contractor I knew i was being sluffed off to save overtime fees and call in costs for parts at the supplier. No offer of offset was provided and avoidance to communicate was left for me to try and contact the catering manager! I was told dfthe catering manager was the general managers supervisor. This might explain a few things in itself.
