First room that was given to me was under construction, literally with plaster and tools on the ground. Second room given to me had accumulated water by the window, possibly due to earlier rain. Room had a musty odor. Towels were not clean. Hair and stains found in the bed sheets. On my last day, the shower head would not turn off. They tried to move me to a 3rd room in 2 days, but I was leaving the next morning so the shower head did not bother me. Location is great and the AC worked. Its a cheap stay so you can't expect much. But it should be at least clean with well functioning basics.

the location is good. We checked in on 12/29, the next door restaurant had a party, the noise was very loud. we could not steep. The noise finally stopped at 4 am on 12/30. We did not sleep the whole night. I asked the property front desk if there is anything they can do about this ? The front desk said the noise came from next door, there is nothing they can do for me. The front desk suggested I contact the manger to follow up. I was very disappointed about this. I sent email to the hotel manger , no response.

Great Stay!

Enjoyed the stay! The facilities were very clean and the staff was very responsive. The place is very close to the Parque de Las Palapas (less than a minute). Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, clean room with pleasant staff and a great breakfast at hotel restaurant. The only downside was a lot of noise from the nearby park on the night we were there.

The hotel was very nice and in a convenient location. Our first night we had noisy neighbours, but the property quickly rectified the situation and upgraded our room for free! They were very helpful and accommodating of all our needs. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel staff is very welcoming. The rooms were clean. Most importantly the hotel was in the middle of everything. I could get to the hotel zone, swap meet, all sorts of food. The whole experience was great! I can not wait to go back and will be booking here.

If, like myself, you worry about selecting a hotel on Expedia in an area you don't know, you don't have to worry about this place. A lovely clean and very welcoming service. We ate here each night and enjoyed the simple but tasty menu. We felt safe and looked after.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. Great area next to local park with LOTS of food vendors, restaurants, entertainment, and great for kids. Walking distance to the bus station, the wonderful Mercado, and has a convenience store next door. Very clean hotel, feels new. If you want a local experience and walkable access to everything, I would highly recommend this hotel

I have stayed twice at the international suites hotel because I already enjoyed the first stay very much. The hotel is located in a lively area close to the ADO bus station. At the plaza de palapas are many street food option that I tried all. The staff was super nice and helpful and I loved it! Thank you!!!!

The location is amazing, next to the Parque De Palapas. 10min walking distance to Mercado 28. The only issue we experienced is a damp smell from the bathroom. So we kept the bathroom door closed all the time. But apart from that amazing staff, perfect location for someone who would like to explore downtown Cancun.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean room. Groceries shops and restaurants nearby. Room is too small. Not enough amenities. Too noisy outside and upstairs due to organized parties by the hotel.

Would stay again!

The folks at reception were friendly and helpful. The receptionist gave us a tour of the space, since our room was in a second building. The pool is not deep, but clean and great for cooling off. Rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Walls are a little thin in terms of sound, but also there was a lot of noise on the street from a festival in the plaza next door. A little noise in exchange for churros and tacos al pastor was no problem for us!

The hotel was very clean, with a lovely pool that I didn’t have time to use. Bed very comfortable. Check in was easy and efficient and friendly. Good location in center, however, that being said, we were near a park with lots of action. The music playing extremely loud until 3:30am made sleeping impossible. It was extremely frustrating. Not the fault of the hotel, but beware this could happen.

No hot water, and they didn’t manage to fix it in 2 days. Receptionist told us we would only have to let the water running for 15 minutes to get hot water (how eco friendly it is), but it wasn’t working eitheir way. I highly advise not to stay in this hotel.

Good location near park with lots of local activities. No hot water or water pressure. Had to wash my hair in the sink which was very tiny. Vanity with counter would be nice to put your things. They offered airport pickup which I asked for by email. Didn't get because we didn't pay in advance. 3 days after checkout I got an answer to my email about airport pickup. Sparse room, quite pricy for what you get.

I love a street fair just not at 3am

This was our last night in Mexico and we wanted to stay in the central part of Cancun to continue with a more authentic experience. I chose this place based on the reviews, proximity to dining and to the airport for our 8am flight. There was some mention in the reviews of the Park located adjacent to the hotel having a street fair with music that went somewhat late. That was alluring to me & not at all a turn off because 1) sounds fun and 2) we are night owls but I will say more about this later. When we arrived the streets around the hotel were packed and there were people directing traffic. The park was hoppin with music & people everywhere...I was excited for a last night of fun but also worried we may have to park far from our hotel. Fortunately when we pulled up, the hotel had put cones out front to keep people from parking there. We pulled right up & were able to park there the remainder of the night. The area around the hotel was well lit and my car could be seen from the clerks desk so I felt comfortable leaving it there. Check in was quick & easy. The attendant was friendly however did not speak much English so if you do not speak Spanish communication might be challenging. The room was clean & had all the basic necessities. Our patio doors opened to a nice shared courtyard. Now back to the street fair. In addition to the bed being extremely firm & pillows being extremely flat, the music from the fair seemed to get louder around midnight and went until almost 4am.
