“A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.”

“Extremely friendly and courteous staff, in particular the lady who checked us in and the breakfast team. The hotel is being systematically renovated and the public areas are of a high standard. Our room was clean and well maintained and whilst the bathroom was clean and functional it would have benefited from being renovated. That said, there was nothing seriously wrong with it. The price we paid represented excellent value for money. Free and secure parking in a dedicated building adjacent...

“The staff at the Old Mill are really friendly and helpful. The Italian restaurant is pleasant with a nice outlook next to the canal and the food is nice. The breakfast is basic continental but perfectly adequate. The location is good only a 10 minute walk to the canal that takes you all the way in to the centre of Bath and is a lovely walk. Our room at the Old Mill was perfectly fit for purpose however is in need of some decoration. It could have been cleaner, we found cobwebs over the bedside...

“The pub itself and the breakfast were great but the room i had smelled damp and needed some love! The bed was very old with person shape dents in the mattress The owner came out immediately to fix a light but as he couldn't reassure me that the other rooms were any better I left after one night of no sleep.”

“A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

“Breakfast was very good all nice and hot. Unfortunately the room still had rubbish in it from previous occupants. The shower had more water coming out the bath taps than the shower head! All staff were very helpful and friendly”

“Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied.”

“The property is quite quirky with uneven floors but has character. Quite a small hotel and choices at breakfast were limited. Vegetarians and people with other dietary requirements not really catered for.”

“Parking is brilliant. Lovely spacious room with comfy bed. The only draw back is as it was very warm, having the window open at night is not good. Very noisy boy racers and loud drunk people everywhere. Shower water drains very slowly. Apart from that, perfect location.”
