"Maldron Hotel is located close to a bus stop and to Tube where is easy for someone to travel to anywhere they want. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and courteous and answered all questions regarding for example, close food location, Tesco. Rachel/Nawal/Davina were very helpful and courteous. They were easy going, helpful and were easy to talk and would communicate back to you with respect. Answered all questions honestly and if they had no answer, would try their best. Rooms were good, clean and and the staff cleaned the rooms perfectly when needed. Was surprised to find water bottles and cookies replaced when the room were cleaned. Breakfast was also good and the staff were friendly and courteous. Would stay with them again when I get to go for another Arsenal game as the stadium was 15 min walk. Awesome place and worth it. "

"Parking easy and reception staff good. Corridors need serious upgrades as uncarpeted and bare. Room was cold and very poorly lit. Curtain looked like a wartime throwback. No real facilities and even the kettle had to be moved to a bedside table to plug in. Very uninviting and I am pleased that on this occasion I was on my own. Would have been good value at half the price (comparable then to teh travel lodge round the corner) "

"Solo traveller. Great location if going to a gig in Hackney. Plenty of bars & places to eat in the vacinity. Trains/buses a plenty that will get you round London if you put the research in. Price for a small single room with shared bathroom was very competitive. I had to call the hotel in advance of my trip as had added further nights via a second booking via a different website. The staff member merged them into the one booking meaning I didn't have to vacate my room. They also put me in a room with a window which was hugely appreciated now my stay was for a few nights. Bed was comfortable, room was warm, TV & remotes worked fine with enough channels to keep me occupied for the short time I was in the room/not asleep. The bathroom, shared between 5 rooms, was clean and I had no issues with fellow guests during my stay. The one slight issue with that bathroom, in the 210-214 area, was that there is a blockage in the shower meaning water drains very slowly. This could be an issue if you are in a hurry and need to follow someone who's just used it. For the price, a little gem for any solo traveller & /or people on a budget. "
