“Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Room was clean, Hotel was clean. We didn’t use the pool because we came for the beach but from my view from the room the pool also looked clean and well kept. The location of the hotel was perfect, just one block from the boardwalk. Check in was fast and seamless. Front desk was friendly. This was first time in Ocean City and most definitely will come back and will stay at the Gateway!”

“The hotel is good for the price point. The rooms are large and have a small kitchenette. The staff were great. We ate at the restaurant Sea Bay Cafe each morning. The service and food was good for the price. We enjoyed jumping in the pool after coming off the beach. It’s conveniently located near many restaurants.”

“The room and grounds were very clean. Ample parking next to the hotel due to a parking garage. Great views of the beach and if you are on either side of the hotel and great views of the bay. The hotel has four elevators in the center. I would recommend staying there”

“For the price it was, it was exactly what i expected. everything was kind of clean for the most part BUT, there were hairs on the pillows and bed. Miscellaneous spots on the sheets and on the shower curtain. The bathroom sink hot water nob was completely broke. I turned it on and it fell off.. it seems they just throw it back on and call it a day. some of the “ clean “ towels had spots on them, only a few not all. Overall, our stay was a 5/10. Beach is close and so is food spots that’s a plus....

“Let me just preface this by saying I normally do not stay in hotels like this I like indoor hotels not outdoor hotels. The fact that it was costing an arm in the leg this time around to go to Ocean City was breathtaking. However I did enjoy staying at this hotel the beds were a little less than desire because my husband and I experienced some back pain. However the maintenance crew was very responsive to front desk staff was good it's right on the beach we had a balcony room the pool was right...
