"If you want a nice place to stay just steps from the beach, this place was wonderful. Parking was free as was the breakfast. I got an ocean view room but wasn't quite expecting the traffic right outside my window. I had a really nice patio and view of the beach I could almost touch, but the main coastal road was right there so you were mostly listening to traffic. Unfortunately, I could also hear cars and motorcycles going by all night while trying to sleep, but if that kind of noise isn't an issue for you, it's a gorgeous location, really lovely staff, and a comfortable clean room right near Carlsbad Village."

"We had yet another great stay at the Omni La Costa! I do think they need to give the resort rooms a deep clean. This was the 3rd stay where it wasn't super clean with a bit mold in the shower. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of."
