"I stayed at this location in June 2026. It is very close to the main gate of Camp Pendleton. If your loved one is closer to another gate, consider a different hotel. My loved one was 45 minutes from this location. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel gets a lot of traffic, which is evident in the dings and scratches throughout the facility. It is clean. The breakfast was very very good. It is not free but priced similar to nearby restaurants. Insider tip, there is an observation deck on the top floor. The beds and pillows were good. There is a bar but I couldn’t figure out when it was opened. They may want to work on that. The pool is small but I never saw more than 4 people in it so it wasn’t a big deal. You can walk to the harbor down a short path but the hill is kinda steep and the path isolated so don’t go alone at night."

"If you like a/c there is none so it can get a bit muggy. Also no elevator so if u have alot of baggage kind of a pain going up and down the stairs. The parking spots are VERY tight. We have a full size truck and it was very difficult to park. We ended up parking at the yatch club. The last row closest to the street is open parking. No permit needed. Great location and ocean breeze It is a older property so make sure u stay on the second floor, otherwise you can hear your neighbors above you."
