โExcellent. Funky vibe. Lovely outdoor areas to order drinks and delicious wood fired pizza. The only negative I have is rooms are slightly small for two people with large bags. I would definitely book again. โ
โGreat stay at Wayside Inn, Carmel-by-the-sea. Friendly and kind staff at the front desk, nice and cozy room with a moody fireplace. Smart TV. 10 minutes to Monterey and 15 minutes to wineries in Carmel valley.

The staff was so friendly, quick to offer support and kind. The room was so cute and cozy. I loved the snacks available for purchase and the tv channels offered!
The complimentary breakfast was 10/10!!! I never felt the need to go to a cafe nearby. The morning breakfast and evening cookies sent to the room daily were such a good touch and offered that traditional customer service and care that I have missed a lot lately.

โThe cutest little inn! Perfectly located just a short walk from the beach and you walk right into downtown when you step out your room so you can easily explore everything on foot. Every morning they hand-deliver a breakfast basket, which was such a sweet touch. Parking on property also! They even let us check in earlier than our scheduled time, which was a big plus. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

I read reviews about how the walls are paper thin and its really loud and I was worried. The walls were really thin and I could literally hear everything from neighbors, but it was not a big problem for me cause they all became quite after 10pm. I had my earplugs for sleep. I guess it really helped. Welcome cookies, wine, and the breakfasts were good. I'd stay here again if I visit carmel by the sea. Its a lovely town and everywhere is ultra pet friendly.โ
