Ok place to stay in Carmel. A bit dated but in decent shape, good location. My room upstairs was noisy due to traffic. Downstairs room might be better. Rooms have been updated. Internet could be better, I needed to log on each time I used it. Breakfast was ok.

The only complaint I would have about this hotel is you have to ring the bell to get anybody to help you and sometimes there was a little wait, but other than that the hotel was great and everybody was very friendly

The location and room space and decor were great. The food offered was of low quality. The scrambled eggs were hard, the meat was a cheap breakfast patty and the bagles were small, dense and hard.

I was surprised at how easy it was to park at or near the hotel despite the limited hotel parking. I’ve been to Carmel many times and parking is usually a nightmare. Located on Ocean Ave at the start of the main drag through downtown Carmel, restaurants & shops are walkable which was quite convenient and eliminated the need to drive most places.

The one and only staff person was very nice. The walls in the rooms must be thin. You could hear the conversation next-door, TV on) coughing anything. The hotel is very quaint. It states that it offers a full breakfast. It’s more of a continental breakfast. The only thing that might make it a full breakfast. Is they provide eggs and sausage. The breakfast area has five tables and they’re very close together. The room is very small inside, but clean sort of an old world charm. Parking is difficult or limited.

This hotel was great for what we needed. Rooms were bigger than I probably thought they would be and were spotlessly clean. The free breakfast was good too , in a very small room but managed to get a good selection into a small space. Definitely worth a stay here if you are looking to stay in Carmel

The location is very convenient because it’s in the corner of Ocean & Torres St. it’s near the shopping area & the fairytale cottages. The staff also were very nice! My husband and I loved the breakfast.

One of the best managed properties I’ve ever seen. Room was immaculate and super comfortable. The breakfast exceeded my expectations and was very satisfying and well stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located near everything and was easily walkable. Love, love, loved this hotel.
