“This was a lovely hotel, very clean and very friendly staff. It was very pet friendly as well which was nice for us. It’s in a great location and is usually walkable to many restaurants with little wineries and shops all around it. There’s a really nice free trolley that stops outside the hotel and takes you right to cannery row and aquarium area, which was very convenient for us. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely stay in the Monterey...

I read reviews about how the walls are paper thin and its really loud and I was worried. The walls were really thin and I could literally hear everything from neighbors, but it was not a big problem for me cause they all became quite after 10pm. I had my earplugs for sleep. I guess it really helped. Welcome cookies, wine, and the breakfasts were good. I'd stay here again if I visit carmel by the sea. Its a lovely town and everywhere is ultra pet friendly.”
“The amenities are well worth the fee. Loved the wine in the afternoons and cookies in the evening. Transportation to and from the downtown area was perfect since the are many hills in the area. The champagne breakfast was excellent - only suggestion would be to have protein available as stand alone item. If you want bacon or sausage it’s only available in the form of a breakfast burrito or omelette. ”

“The grounds are beautiful but don't take a truck as the driveways are very narrow and when it's busy, it becomes difficult to get in or out. Otherwise it is quaint with beautiful landscaping and very comfortable. Nice clean and quiet.”
