“Worst experience ever. Underground room!! As you can see the foreground photo of the hotel, it seems 3 story house. However, our room was located in the underground. You can see the walls or legs of pedestrians!”

“Our 5-day stay at the Kimpton Mirador was...fine. The biggest upside was that it allows for dogs of any size, so we weren't restricted by our 70lb dog. Overall, the building is very nice - well kept, lovely staff, nice room, etc. It's in a great location - close to the water as well as to the main street, and a 20ish minute walk from downtown Monterey. Where it lacked was the finer details. You're supposed to get champagne upon arrival, which the people in front of me were offered upon...

“It was not good. We found curly hairs in the shower and our bath towels had yellow stains on them. The tv was held up with tape.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Deer Heaven Inn, it's very clean and well maintained. Proximity to the beach is excellent and in a very quiet part of the city. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.”

“This was our second stay and the room was clean, and had basic amenities. We love the location as it's close to beach and downtown PG, and within a short drive distance from stores and other attractions in Monterey.”

“I like how the hotel was right across the street from the beach. Very convenient when you are traveling with children. Parking can be difficult as they fill up quick but there were additional underground parking. The iron wasn’t working & the pillows were not comfortable. The staff were friendly & good looking as well ;) We did smell gas in our room but unfortunately no other rooms were available for us to transfer to. Luckily, we stayed on the beach until check out. Overall, it was a nice stay.”

“We have stayed here before and enjoyed the facilities. It is a short walk to the beach through the conference center. the rooms are comfortable with a small kitchen counter for coffee, a small refrigerator, and plates, etc. We found that on this trip there are updates needed in our room. Wallpaper was peeling, the rug had black duct tape securing it and the TV needed office staff to help us get it to work. I hope that if we stay there again, we will have a room that is in good repair.”
