The hotel and property was very clean and well maintained. Front office staff was very nice and welcoming. Rooms were good size with a gas fireplace. Heated pool was very clean. Conveniently located to walk downtown Monterey or a short drive to Carmel. We ate in the restaurant one night and enjoyed our meals. The only thing slightly negative I can mention is that we had a ground floor room and we could hear quite clearly the people walking above us.
