โGreat stay at Wayside Inn, Carmel-by-the-sea. Friendly and kind staff at the front desk, nice and cozy room with a moody fireplace. Smart TV. 10 minutes to Monterey and 15 minutes to wineries in Carmel valley.
- Attitude of a staff delivering breakfast. While he pushed down a coffee-filled cup on the way of putting the breakfast tray on the table (by mistake), he did not say a word of apology.โ
โThis hotel was beautiful. clean and so friendly. Their staff was so accommodating and made my stay magical. Especially Cassie. I will return here many times. It's my new favorite hotel and SO CLOSE to the beach, wineries and restaurants. โ

I read reviews about how the walls are paper thin and its really loud and I was worried. The walls were really thin and I could literally hear everything from neighbors, but it was not a big problem for me cause they all became quite after 10pm. I had my earplugs for sleep. I guess it really helped. Welcome cookies, wine, and the breakfasts were good. I'd stay here again if I visit carmel by the sea. Its a lovely town and everywhere is ultra pet friendly.โ
โCharming place right off one of the main roads but near downtown Carmel. The room was very clean, nicely stocked, great water pressure, and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again.โ
