The property itself was very nice, but the rooms are very very outdated. The room was clean, but just smelled old. The bed was comfortable enough but you can tell the mattress was old. I always check every hotel we stay at for bedbugs, and although I didn’t find any bugs, the mattress was discolored from age. The AC was very cold, which we loved, but it was so loud we literally had to turn the tv up So loud, we probably annoyed our neighbors. The lamps on top Of the tv were stained from what I could only guess was dirt, and a possible leak in the ceiling. My husband golfed in the morning and he really liked the course.

This property is a classic! It may be a little long in the tooth, but that’s part of the charm. My wife and I spend the night here once a year to celebrate an anniversary. We stay in the penthouse suite. Our favorite suite is the Pat Boone suite. We absolutely love it there! And the food is excellent!

Nice place. Older place and some room items like bathroom door and some furniture are dated. Food was excellent and property is clean and well groomed. Have stayed here number of times and will stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The place is way outdated. Our room was ok, at best. The curtain sheer was ripped, spider webs in the corners, the a/c had to be repaired and the shower knob was broken then repaired. The place has lots of history. The pool was nice. All the furniture needs updated. The restaurant and bar were the highlights.

The bar and restaurant are very nice. Food and drinks are excellent. All the employees that we have had interaction with were very pleasant and helpful. Golfing was fun, but the course needs a little work. The rooms are a bit tired, but that wouldn't stop us from staying here again.

Restaurant was good and convenient. Hotel staff was great. What I didn’t like is that it took too long to get hot water up to the seventh floor and dishes from room service laid outside a door for at least three days, before they were taken away!!

It was farther out of town than anticipated when I reviewed it on the map. It’s an older property that’s been well loved and could really use a re-fresh however the view’s from the balcony make it a nice little oasis in the desert.
