โThe house we rented in Tunquen is a magical place indeed.
The view right on the cliff edge can entertain you for weeks, so does the remoteness and the fact all you hear is birds and the waves of the sea. We stayed 4 nights and were grateful to have shopped in a bigger supermarket near Santiago, as there really isnโt much around there apart from some very small shops with some essentials, but for me that was all part of the charm.
The house is nicely decorated and clean everywhereโฆ.apart from...
โThe host was exceptional and cooked for us whatever our heart desired. Peace and serenity in the middle of vines and vineyards - the perfect spot to end our holiday in Chile! I would recommend this gem in the middle of nowhere but yet close to everything! โ
โWe loved this hotel for it's ambience that included artwork, guest lounges and nice gardens. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The property uses sustainable practices to minimize use of plastic and waste. Our only complaint was being woken up early by the noise of voices in a nearby room. Rodrigo was particularly helpful given our limited Spanish skills.โ
โMe encantรณ, grandes habitaciones con bellas vistas la terraza a todo las luces de las casitas y al mar, rico y abundante desayuno, calidad atenciรณnโ
โThey have a fantastic ocean view, very welcoming and eco-friendly. Playa La Boca is a great place for beginner surfers too. They have multiple outdoor spaces with ocean views. I would only recommend some more cushions on the outdoor searing and that Marley doesnt bark before 9am, but he is a sweet dog.โ
โWe loved the large room and the amazing view. It was also walking distance from food and fun and, of course, the beach. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The room smelled like smoke a bit at night, but opening the balcony door helped with that....but some mosquitoes got in that way. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. โ
