“Be aware that although the hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal, it is on a hill, so you need to be reasonably fit if walking up and down. The hotel is close to the harbour and castle. “Beautiful property, well furnished rooms with friendly & helpful staff. While I would fully recommend the property, it was disappointing to turn up and find no availability at the spa despite staying three nights/four days. Also, the hotel added on a service charge of £10/day on checkout despite having already paid a 12.5% service charge in the restaurants & bars (which made up 100% of our bill given we had pre-paid). “Brilliant location. 2 minutes to the heart of St Peter Port and 5 minutes to the Herm Ferry, 10 minutes to the bus station. Wonderful restaurants around. Staff were really helpful and lovely. We lost a key late at night and it was sorted with a smile. Breakfast ladies were fabulous. Hotel was clean (being cleaned all the time), breakfast was very nice and rooms were clean and spacious. We benefited from gorgeous weather , so the outside bar area was lively and fun. Highly recommend.”
