"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel offered a great value for the price, with clean, comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. The food was surprisingly good, which made our stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the unique pool, it was a fun feature that really set this hotel apart. If you're visiting the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, the location is excellent. It's just a short drive away, making it an ideal place to stay for medical appointments or visiting loved ones. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its affordability, cleanliness, friendly service, and convenient location. We would definitely stay here again!"

"If you decide to visit the Amana Colonies, you must stay here at the Millwright hotel. This hotel has so much history and it is displayed everywhere. I truly enjoyed my stay here. They do have a restaurant on site that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. It is very close to all the shops and dining areas in town. I would definitely stay here again."

"Service and food at the restaurant/bar were excellent. Room was very nice. Check in was not welcoming. Housecleaning did not clean our room. A loud train came by twice very early in the morning. More coffee should be made and ready in the morning."

"Check in was good. Fast, simple. Property was clean for the most part. Our room was good with the exception of thin ceilings that sounded like something was in it and the people above us seemed to be rolling a ball back and forth. This was on the third floor. We also had kids continually running up and down our hallway playing tag and then golfing. The bathroom was good except the shower had no pressure and the sink was very small. The TV didn’t get channels like USA, TNT, etc…The gym was quite large however there was way too much equipment and it was messy with rusted metal weights all over, unorganized. The mirrors were dirty with hand prints and what looked like water or sweat. The exterior was unkept with leaves, dead grass, garbage, wrappers and cans laying around."
