"Service and food at the restaurant/bar were excellent. Room was very nice. Check in was not welcoming. Housecleaning did not clean our room. A loud train came by twice very early in the morning. More coffee should be made and ready in the morning."

"I’m not quite 21 yet, but I wanted to see my girlfriend while she was doing an internship through the University of Iowa. Being an 18+ hotel I booked with Graduate and was able to see my girlfriend for the weekend! The room was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and everything was nice and clean. I absolutely loved the Iowa University retro design in the rooms as well. Such a good hotel! 100% recommend!!!"

"Check in was good. Fast, simple. Property was clean for the most part. Our room was good with the exception of thin ceilings that sounded like something was in it and the people above us seemed to be rolling a ball back and forth. This was on the third floor. We also had kids continually running up and down our hallway playing tag and then golfing. The bathroom was good except the shower had no pressure and the sink was very small. The TV didn’t get channels like USA, TNT, etc…The gym was quite large however there was way too much equipment and it was messy with rusted metal weights all over, unorganized. The mirrors were dirty with hand prints and what looked like water or sweat. The exterior was unkept with leaves, dead grass, garbage, wrappers and cans laying around."

"Breakfast was minimal. The gravy for biscuits was cold. Hotel had pool but it was not open. Stayed at the hotel for a baseball tournament, team wanted a pool and that was one reason this hotel was chosen. After several customers made a complaint, pool was opened. Tried to call front desk several times but no one answered. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was good. Would stay at the hotel again because complaints for this stay were not really a deal breaker, just disappointing."
