"My recent stay at the Margaritaville Hotel in Nashville offered a fun, tropical escape in the heart of the city. The absolute highlight was the valet team, who truly have their "Aces in their places." Hamilton in particular was outstanding; he was incredibly polite and took the time to personally help us navigate the registration process. He is a cut above the rest and would make an excellent trainer for the staff.
A unique touch I really enjoyed was the key card, which comes as a memorable keepsake wristband, making it both convenient and a fun souvenir.
While the hotel has a great vibe, there were a few significant misses that hampered the experience. The shower design is frustrating; with only one glass panel and no door, water constantly floods the bathroom floor. While we used towels to soak it up, this creates a massive, unnecessary burden for housekeeping. If all 115+ rooms deal with this, the volume of heavy, wet laundry must be a major safety and labor hazard for the staff. Additionally, our visit to the pool bar was ruined by an atrocious, vomit-like odor that was so overwhelming we had to leave immediately.
Margaritaville has a great foundation, especially with standout employees like Hamilton. If management can address the bathroom design flaws and maintain better sanitation in public areas, it would be a much better experience. Despite these issues, we would be willing to give Margaritaville Nashville another shot on a future visit."
