It does not appear any twin gold rooms have a view so bear this in mind if that is important to you. Spa was very nice although the jacuzzi was only warm. The heated beds in the relaxation room were nice and the steam and sauna good heat. We chose to eat in the hotel in the evening and the food was very good.”

“The views are excellent and our room an executive double was good but very tired and in need of decoration.. Majority of staff were helpful but service was generally slow. Drinks at the bar were very expensive and bar staff less than helpful. Breakfast was adequate but service although polite and engaging was very slow. The fridge in the room was regularly stocked with water and fresh milk which was lovely in our morning tea.”

Also, the hotel added on a service charge of £10/day on checkout despite having already paid a 12.5% service charge in the restaurants & bars (which made up 100% of our bill given we had pre-paid).
