위치가 좋아요
노틀담성당 옆이어서 좋았습니다. 리셉션이 오후 8시 이전에 종료하니 주의하시고요 차로 접근할 경우 인터폰으로 경찰에게 호텔로 간다고 하면 차단봉을 내려주니 유의하시고요 위치는 정말 좋 습니다.

Very convenient for the cathedral
The hotel itself is lovely and very conveniently placed to visit the cathedral. However there are so many one way, very narrow streets, it's very difficult to find the hotel parking. You have to drive through a road bollard & get it lowered by pressing a button to ask. Nowhere is that mentioned & it definitely should be!

Chartres - a great short stay break
Great place but an absolute nightmare to find it. Why can't the hotel provide a close up map showing how to get ther once in Chartres. Other than that a great stay especially being in the old part of Chartres

It was basically okay. There was some mold in the bathroom but there were obvious attempts to clean it. Step up from the hall to the room, steps up to the bathroom. View of nothing with weedy flower pots strewn about. One key to room which must be used to lock the door from the inside.

Nice, quiet and no nonsense!
We loved our stay, it is very close to the cathedral and clean and comfortable. Be sure to get very clear driving directions BEFORE you get to town. This is a tricky location. Fortunately, a terrific person at the reception desk talked us in!

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit à Hôtellerie Saint Yves. Cet hébergement est très bien situé par rapport à la Cathédrale et la gare SNCF. Nous avons été bien accueillis. La chambre est confortable, calme et sobre mais la salle de bains est petite. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel très gentil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Monastère St Yves
Pour y arriver bien suivre l'itinéraire donné par mail, le centre de chartres est difficile d'accès. Ancien monastère bien restauré avec 15 à 20 place de parkings dans la cour. Bon accueil à la réception. La chambre avec 2 lits d'une personne et 2 grandes fenêtres, très bien chauffée mais un peu austère. La salle d'eau, moderne, spacieuse, faite pour les handicapés, pas très bien pensée et surtout pas chauffée. Le petit déjeunée est correct et il se prend au sous-sol dans une pièce qui donne sur un jardin. Une personne est là en permanence. Le gros avantage de cette hôtel c'est qu'il se trouve à 200m de la cathédrale en plein centre historique de Chartres.

The location and beauty/history of the property are the reasons to stay here. Driving to it is a bit of an adventure and be sure to look for the directions on their website. Very friendly staff. Spare but comfortable room and lovely views.

Om de hoek van de Kathedraal
Fijn hotel; aanrader als je voor de kathedraal komt. Het is bijna om de hoek. Hele nette kamer met fijne, moderne badkamer / douch. Ik had een pracht uitzicht over de stad. Ontbijt was net verzorgd. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Als ik weer naar Chartres ga, boek ik weer hier.

The location is great but otherwise this is a dormitory style facility for the price of a 3-star hotel. The wifi doesn't work in some rooms. We had to ask for soap. There was never any soap for the sink. And they have a potentially serious safety problem. Their hallway and exit stairwell lights are on a timer and you have to be able to find the ON switches in the dark. Staff are nice but they don't have a service orientation.

Lost in medieval Chartres
I loved the former priory, but it took me 45 minutes of driving around to find it because a road was blocked off. The night porter was very helpful, but if I didn't speak French I'd never have found the place.

The outstanding features of the hotel are its location (250 yards from the cathedral and less to some good restaurants) and its car parking.

A simple, but clean room with a fantastic view. The ensuite with shower was clean and modern. An atmospheric hotel, thanks to its history. Staff were helpful and friendly. A great location for visiting Chartres. If coming by car, hotel parking is limited so arrive on time!
