A good overnight stop apart from the restaurant.
This was a stopover on a long journey and a major factor in its choice was the onsite restaurant. We were only informed on arrival that the restaurant was closed due to staff holidays. This was a considerable inconvenience as there were no restaurants nearby. This would have been much less of a problem if we were aware in advance

En-route to the Dordogne
Stayed for ne night en-route to the Dordogne. Good location with a supermarket and petrol station opposite the hotel as well as a park for exercise. Room nice but shower a bit small and the shower door kept hitting the towel rail. The shower was hot and strong, great! Staff friendly and selection and quality of food great and good value. We would stay again.

Disappointing
On arrival we was told that there was no restaurant available when we booked it that’s what we expected was the restaurant when I asked the receptionist was very Fane about where we could go . Condition of the room was very dirty the carpet and looked very good never been cleaned . We have stopped this groups hotels before and they have always been of a pretty good standard very disappointed would not stop again .

We stayed for one night - an overnight stop. The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast simple but good and staff were helpful and welcoming.

On our route we’d stop by again.
We had the Kyriad at CHAMBERY to compare it with and it stood up well apart from the Epousse pillow. Very decent meal - quite late. Friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable end to a long drive.

Journey break
Cheap but not very cheerful. Room not very clean, and location noisy. Food on offer was ok. Overall we were unlucky that the hotel hosted a large meeting in a nearby room and noise and smoke overflowed to us. Would not stay in this chain again.

Beautiful building, excellent service
This is a lovely hotel, dating back to 1380, we had a corner room wifh views of the Black Mountains from every window. Plenty of space, large bathroom, very comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient.

Easy to find stopover
Helpful staff. Able to accommodate us when we accidentally forgot to book our child into our room with us ! Easy to find on the main road but quiet at night. However, minimal coffee and tea pack in room with no sugar or spoon and hardly any milk.

Booked hotel because it had restaurant. Arrived after 500miles trip and restaurant was closed. Should be made clear on site the opening days. Bed saggy and creaky. Loo ran on for ages afer a flush. Whole place needs a lot of tlc.

A place to rest when driving back to the UK
As you would expect from the brand and for the price. Nothing fancy, just a place to rest your head for the night. The room is small but okay, the bed was firm enough but the pillows were cheap foam filled items. The bathroom is, as always at a Kyriad absolutely tiny, but there was plenty of hot water and towels.

For the price this was a perfectly adequate hotel for a one night stop over (only). The receptionist didn't speak English, but we managed to muddle through with my O level French!

Un accueil chaleureux et une literie au top. Le petit-déjeuner très correct. Malheureusement, l'état général des chambres est loin d'être à la hauteur dun 3 étoiles. Les murs sont si fins qu'on entend le voisin ronfler. La douche présente une fuite et les joints des faïences sont sales. Le radiateur qui date du siècle dernier est bon pour la déchetterie...

Nice is the parking by the hotel. Not so nice is the possibility for to dinner, nothing in the region and we have always to go about 10 km for Buffalo Bill
