Closed redirected to the amazing Queen Hotel

When we arrived we found the station hotel closed and redirected to the queen's Hotel, which was fabulous. The place itself is amazing, service faultless. If I have to pick a fault being woken up on our last morning at 7am by the laundry delivery was annoying, the hotel can organise latter deliveries. As I said otherwise it was an excellent stay in an amazing hotel

Nice and good location

Our stay was lovely, hotel was nice however our room had not been cleaned properly. We found a hair grip on our floor and our bag of coffee etc had empty milk cups in so clearly had not been changed. We went to reception and they gave us fresh coffee etc. and also went and hoovered our room there and then. Bed not very comfortable and we feel rooms would benefit from air con. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again. Ideal location for getting into chester centre, 10-15min walk.

Came just for an overnightstay whilse visiting a friend.mention to hiymtel i struggled to get in to a bath and they gave us the nicest ground floor room with lots of space , a fan and everything you need. Was spotlessly clean.

The hotel booked had shut down and no one told us

The hotel we had booked was closed down and we had to go to the sister hotel near by, which we only discovered after having to call the number on the booking. Apparently we should have been told of the change?! The room was right next to the only elevator of the hotel we could hear it going up and down all day and night, and the button to call the lift was horrendous. There was only one roll of toilet roll which we only discovered in the night at which time we couldn’t go down to reception for more. The room itself was pleasant enough just very tired and in need of some tlc. It was extremely hot in the night, and there wasn’t any fans or air con. The lady on reception was lovely it’s just a shame the room and location of the room wasn’t as good as she was. We probably wouldn’t stay there again

Good hotel.

Great to start getting back to normal, nice stay , but it would be good see a better menu in the resturant with more choice ,and for familys staying a childrens menu.

Hotel closed but they’re happy to take the booking

The hotel was closed when I got there and told to head the The Queens Hotel, 20m down the road towards the station. Got there then to be told I couldn’t stay as I couldn’t prove I was there for business even thigh I had official documented letter advising so. Felt a bit like I was a burden and not had this experience at other Best Westerns. Not good!

Parking fine

So disappointed, they change the hotel at last minute, they ask me to move the car to the parking and register plates in their screen, I paid but yesterday arrive a parking fine to my address

Queen at Chester

From the welcome at the front desk to the breakfast the next morning, we have had a really enjoyable stay. Comfy bed, beautiful building and very good breakfast.

Stanza molto sporca, capelli sul pavimento in ogni dove. Le pulizie vengono svolte causa Covid una volta alla settimana (ma proprio per il Covid dovrebbero esser svolte ogni giorno o piu' spesso!). L'acqua calda a intemittenza e spazio per il lavabo o per appoggiare un dentifricio inesistente. Personale altamente cortese, disponibile e gentile!

I was moved to The Queen as it's part of the same chain and the Chester Station Hotel is now called the Westminster so this review is of the Queen: Very well organised Covid arrangements and clean throughout. The breakfast was exceptional, much improved from a previous stay some years ago. Only niggle was the TV did not work which I did not bother to report. Building is grand but tired and creaky which seems to amplify late night guest noise. Staff friendly and courteous.

Rundown and tired. Room smelt stale and foisty Not a wink of sleep due to herd of elephants in room above all night clearly partying.Told reception but not interested. Checked out in disgust at 7am Will not return

We got to the hotel and it wasn't open, saying we had to go over the road to the Queens Hotel, when we arrived we were told we couldn't have a proper breakfast like booked instead we would be given a continental breakfast at the door. Not happy with that at all considering the extra paid i was expecting a full English. When our continental breakfast came there was barely anything in there very disappointing wish i was told beforehand so i could have gone to a cafe in the city instead.
