โIt is always a pleasure to stay here. We return to the area (from Florida) once a year to visit w/family and friends. The hotel property is very clean, thoughtful layout of our room and amenities it offers: microwave and fridge; large mirror; ample clothes rack; desk/chair. I really like the long counter space in a separate area of room.

โI booked this property for an event nearby and it was perfect! I booked the executive suite which was clean and neat and affordable! The outside and the inside are well-maintained! Plenty of shopping/restaurants across the street and nearby! Would definitely stay here again if Iโm in the area :) plus the staff were exceptional!โ
โThe staff members were very attentive and very respectful. 5 stars to them, give those fine folks a raise!!! Didn't care for the area though, I was racially discriminated against just standing out on the sidewalk along Asylum street. I dont plan on ever coming back to Hartford but if by some act of God, I had to c9me back no matter what, Id stay at the Goodwin.โ
โVery conveniently locate to major roads. In complementary shuttle service to downtown Hartford was a major plus. The staff was very gracious and helpful.โ
"The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but thatโs common for East Coast hotels, so nothing particularly special. The room condition and overall cleanliness were decent. It was inconvenient that there was only one elevator going down to the underground parking lot.
The staff were friendly, especially the valet staff who kindly helped us with our car issue.
Very close to Yale."
