They contacted us that they were running a special during our stay and assisted us in canceling our previous reservation and getting the special price....how wonderful and unexpected. The place is lovely, people are wonderful, convenient to great places to eat....couldn't ask for more.

Great place to stay in Bacalar

It’s very nice and reasonably priced. Plenty of room with comfortable bed and good kitchenette. Nice shady patio out the side door. Would definitely stay there again if in the Area. Beautiful area to visit and not so touristy. Hotel is in a great location in town. Easy to walk to most places in town.

The ground floor suite Piña was immaculate and perfectly equipped for all our needs at an enormous discount from rack rates. Plus the hotel's location was just one block from the two best restaurants in town Bacalar lagoon fro ting La Playita and Italian beyond excellence Finisterre.

We loved the room it was a perfect option for my family(2adults 3 kids). We spent out time walking around the town square and lagoon. Karla helped us book our lagoon tour which was amazing. Great overall experience for our first time visiting Bacalar. We thank everyone and we’ll definitely come back!

A True Oasis! Hotel Oasis was the perfect getaway! The location couldn’t be better—super convenient to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds were absolutely stunning, filled with vibrant plants and peaceful spots to relax. The lush fauna really made it feel like a tropical retreat. What truly set this place apart, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind—they made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Can’t wait to come back—Hotel Oasis truly lives up to its name!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel & Suites Oasis Bacalar. The location is wonderful, very walkable to everything. Karla and Mario were so helpful. The entire staff went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. We accidently left a personal item and they immediately contacted us so we were able to swing back by and pick it up! They are so honest and trustworthy and so very helpful. The hotel is beautiful, the pool is refreshing. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

The staff was super friendly.. Apartments are super spacious and cleaned. Coffe, sugar, water and cooking oil. The pool was clean and great to use. We love they recycle. Laguna is a block away.. its a walk from ado, but we opted for a taxi. 50 pesos.thanks Steven, Mario, Marco and Karla. We went dancing to Catrina which was fun and safe.

The staff is so amazing! I moved rooms while I was here because they upgraded me to a bigger room. I left a tip for the housekeeper, and she reported it as something I left behind. I needed a taxi to Chetumal early in the morning, and they called and booked it for me the day before. It’s conveniently located close to the shore and el Centro. Thank you! I had a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful, spacious suite with comfortable bed and extra pillows. Pool is wonderful, kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning works very well. Staff are outstanding and very helpful! Parking is on the street, and our car was broken into. They stole our laundry bag with our new running shoes to wear home on the plane, our prescription eye glasses - which were in cases in the glove box, so they probably thought they were sunglasses- and the spare tire from the trunk. But this could happen anywhere, so it is not a reflection on the hotel.

Excellent hotel! Very attentive and thoughtful staff - mario was excellent! Very clean and thoughtfully equipped room. The colibri room was a small one for 1 person. After i booked it - they sent me a message explaining that it was not a full sized room - i thought that was so thoughtful. The room still had a fridge, coffee maker, coffee, tea, sugar, cups, a spoon, drinking water, a place for clothes, A/c, etc many windows and good airflow. Of course it’s own bathroom and towels. The only thing it didn’t have was a quilt - but this is not customary here. The property is well located close to the lagoon and restaurants. The pool is a good temperature and well-designed with places to sit in the pool and areas of sun and shade. Everything was very clean and the property felt secure. At the end mario requested a taxi for me and the ride to the ADO was 40 pesos. Thank you to the staff for an excellent stay.

Excellent hotel in perfect location. Very large, clean room with small kitchen. TV and safe too. The pool was super clean and has lots of chairs. Walkable to everything downtown. Very safe area

The hotel was in very clean and beautiful, felt like a little hidden jungle oasis inside the town. Everything was pleasant and the provide with free bottled water too in the room. Only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the water from the shower.

This was a very stay. Great location, Wi-Fi and hot water. The street can be a little noisy at times but I was still able to get some sleep. My only complaint is that they need to buy new bedding and towels as they are very worn out. Otherwise it was a very nice stay.

Very easy checkin checkout. The personal is very nice and friendly. I asked them about the attractions and area. They recommended a boat tour in the lake and he showed me a nice route for walking. The room was a junior suite with a kitchen, it was clean and comfortable with a small patio. The location is excellent for dining, coffee and walking. I would stay at the hotel again if I travel to the area again.

Loved this little gem of a place. We had a second floor room over looking the pool. The room was very spacious. There was a small kitchen with a fridge and gas cooktop. The shower was great, good pressure and hot water. The bed was comfy. It has a nice pool area. The hotel is very clean. Location is walking distance to the lagoon, several restaurants and stores. The Ado station is a fifteen minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful.
