"I loved my stay in Hotel Marroad in Narita. Free shuttle to the hotel from Bus station 16 in terminal 1 and back to the airport next day for my flight to LAX. Free shuttle too to Aeon Mall for some last minute shopping. Room is clean, bigger size than other hotels in Japan I stayed from previous trip. Pleasant and helpful staff too."

Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama

"I liked that there was a laundry room, a Disney store for last minute buys, a convenience store and shuttle buses to the Disney Resort station or Maihama station. And even if you missed the last shuttle bus back to the hotel, it was within walking distance from the closest Disney train station back to the hotel. They even had a baggage storage area that held our bags because it was too early to check in. And then they placed the bags to the room while we enjoyed the Disney Park. They also had a baggage transport area to move our bags from the Grand Nikko hotel to our next hotel in Nara so we could travel easily by train and not have to worry about bringing all our luggage with us on the train."

"Practical stay while waiting to board plane the next day. Express Narita train from Tokyo to terminal 2 and then free shuttle to hotel. Very convenient to the airport, well insulated windows from airport noise, breakfast has enough options, shuttle to airport is a full size bus every 30 minutes. We’ll stay again if needing a short airport layover."

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel

"As a frequent Disneyworld and Disneyland (US) visitor, I cannot say how much I loved staying on this property. The hotel is opulently themed, with massive rooms (especially for Japan!). I stayed in the Alice in Wonderland room and it was a treat to walk in the first day. The hotel itself is just a couple hundred meters from the entrance of Tokyo Disneyland park, and guest receive a 15 minute early entry for days they hold tickets. This may seem like nothing to US visitors but here, that 15 means a lot- don’t miss taking advantage! For Disneysea, you are also a short walk to the monorail loop, and a 15 minute ride to the Disneysea entrance. The Sherwood Gardens buffet dinner was one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed, and while it wasn’t cheap, it was an excellent value vs WDW hotel meals. The hotel gift store offers all sorts of quick food options, at relative prices that won’t break your budget. I was also able to do laundry on site one afternoon. This hotel is not “cheap” but it’s comparable to Disney “Deluxe” hotels in the U.S. at a fraction of the price."
