The Bloomingdale Trail also known as The 606 is a 2.7 mile elevated walking/biking trail created from an abandoned railroad line through the neighborhoods of Wicker Park, Bucktown, Humboldt Park, and Logan Square. The Bloomingdale rail line was created after the Chicago fire and continued as a freight line until the mid 1990's. The trail is a unique way to traverse and sight-see through these Chicago neighborhoods. Fair warning, the serenity of pedestrian sight-seeing can be made slightly more treacherous by the occasional overly aggressive Schwinn Armstrong.
