"This is my second time using Expedia, and honestly, I won’t be using it again. Both times, the hotels were nothing like what was listed. This particular hotel in MA was extremely run down, both inside and outside. There were no amenities at all. The TV didn’t work, and neither did the ice machine. There was no coffee maker and no coffee available anywhere on the property. The bed was rock hard the floor actually felt softer. The location was very noisy, and the walls were paper thin. The only positive was a small diner across the road that was open 24 hours, but that doesn’t make up for the poor conditions of the hotel."

"To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at the La Quinta hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts. I have stayed at many La Quinta locations across the United States and have always had positive experiences, which makes this situation especially upsetting. This was, unfortunately, the worst experience I have had, and certainly not worth the $153.00 I paid. Although the hotel is advertised as smoke-free, the smell of marijuana in the elevators and throughout the sixth floor was overwhelming and unacceptable. I was traveling with my two granddaughters, ages 15 months and 13 years, and the environment did not feel safe or appropriate for them. Additionally, the room itself was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress felt as though it had a sunken hole in the middle, making it very difficult to sleep, and the pillows were unusually small and flat. Given the circumstances of my trip—my father is currently in critical condition at Baystate Hospital—I needed a clean, comfortable place to rest. Instead, I felt compelled to check out at 6:39 a.m. due to the poor conditions. I am asking that this hotel be reviewed and that these issues be addressed promptly. "Room and building upgraded and pretty but my headboard had telling handprints that was pretty gross to then go and sleep in the bed; had to wash off with washcloth vs heading down for new room; shower also had hairs on floor."
