“It was dirty and had bugs and the floor was peeling up under our feet. We didn't last 15 mins in there before we ran out and got a refund”

“What a delight. This property looks brand new. The room was large, the shower was great, the bed, bedding and linens all were first class. We used the pool and it was nice, although the shower they ask you to take was not working and a spa would have been a good addition. The best part of the stay was Danh. To find someone this young and this competent is rare. We would be glad to stay there again. ”

“Typical Continental breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking, nice area to walk along the river, with views of the Marina. Old Town 3 minutes across the bridge, business area/shopping about 5 minutes away, very convenient. We will stay here again in the future. ”

“This hotel is very, very nice. Clean, comfortable, modern and just a short 10 minute walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. Additionally, the staff (in particular Medina, Sydney and Jake) were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Absolutely wonderful experience. “Parking was easy; some dirty spots in and around the building. Pretty safe area. Comfortable bed, but AC unit may be noisy. No microwave or mini fridge in the one-bed rooms. Great option if you just need a place to nap, watch TV, clean up and/or sleep (because you'll be busy going around town).”

“My stay there was ok. Older hotel that needs updating. However the rooms were clean and the hotel was clean. The mattress on the bed was a little worn and the room had a slight odor. But overall it was ok. ”

“German roaches on my toothbrush at 10 pm. Roaches on the table. I’m glad I couldn’t get to sleep and got up to go to the bathroom I left the property immediately and got a room at the quality inn adjacent to this ramshackle bldg. I will be following up with the state authorities to do my best to shut this place down”

The home is really nice, 12 foot ceilings, bathrooms in every room, great sitting areas in the back, coffee was excellent in the morning, and breakfast hit the spot as well. I will definitely stay there again next time I go to New Bern, NC…”
